Powerball Winner Pedro Quezada is proving to be quite a stand-up guy, who makes good on his promises.

When the Deli worker from Passaic, N.J., who immigrated from the Dominican Republic, found out that he was the winner, he said that he would use the money to help those who needed it.

NY Daily News writes that Quezada now plans to pay the rent for everyone on his block for at least one month.

“He said he’s going to pay the rent for everybody here on this block for at least a month or two months,” a friend explains.

Other reports showed the he was behind on alimony payments for his five children, owing a total of $29,000 (€22,600) in unpaid child support bills.
