These are totally new units, not refurbished or recertified

Sony's Tablet S won't win any honors, being based on the now outdated 1 GHz Tegra 2 SoC from NVIDIA, but we can't just sit by and not mention when it starts selling for almost $200 less than usual.

Sony normally sells the 32 GB Tablet 2 for $425 / 345 Euro, and the 16 GB one for $325 / 264.48 Euro.

Woot sells the former for only $260, or 211 Euro, give or take. That's more than just a deal, it's a rare and great deal in a world where 7-inch tablets ship for around $200 / 162 Euro.

Be sure you're fast if you want one though. Woot will only have the promotion up for half a day longer (15 hours at the time of this article's writing), and there are bound to be many bidders. These are, after all, completely new models, not refurbished slates.
