2K is launching a sci-fi theme WWE 2K20 DLC this week, alongside a new patch that addresses loads of issues with the game. Dubbed Empire of Tomorrow, the new DLC is now available for purchase for $15 / €15, but those who already own WWE 2K20 Deluxe and SmackDown! 20th Anniversary Editions will get it for free.

WWE 2K20 Originals: Empire of Tomorrow is the fourth and last DLC pack for the game and can be bought together with the others released until now for $30 / €30 (WWE 2K20 Backstage Pass DLC bundle).

Just like previous WWE 2K20 Originals, Empire of Tomorrow includes a futuristic new Showcase, Story Towers, characters, arenas, character parts, weapons, voiceover, and commentary.

The story of WWE 2K20 Originals: Empire of Tomorrow follows Asuka, a legendary hacker on the run from the clutches of Authority Megacorp. Chairwoman Alexa Bliss, the head of Authority Megacorp, has offered Asuka and her crew a deal: return stolen data, and have their criminal records wiped clean.

The new DLC includes four Story Towers: On the Hunt, Malfunction Detected, Neo-Osaka Security Corporation, and Heist of the Millennium. Apart from that, several futuristic WWE Superstar characters have been added: Hacker Asuka, Chairwoman Bliss, A-Mech-Sa Bliss, Daemon Sonya Deville, CyberNaomi, Anti-Virus Carmella, N14-J4X, and Hacker Johnny Gargano

Finally, two new arenas make their debut in WWE 2K20 via Empire of Tomorrow: The Mainframe and Neo-Osaka District 4. Of course, new themed Superstar parts, voiceover and commentary are included too, along with new themed Create-an-Arena parts and new themed weapons.

WWE 2K20 Originals: Empire of Tomorrow DLC releases alongside patch 1.08 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, which adds stability fixes and general polishing. You can check out the full list of changes included in the patch on the game's official website.
