2K's entire catalogue of Steam games is currently offered at a massive discount over the weekend, making for the best ever chance to get your hands on the full Civilization V (plus expansions and DLC) among others.

The deal runs through the weekend, available until August 24, and features titles from the Civilization, BioShock, Borderlands and XCOM series, at an impressive discount, with the minimum being 50 percent off, and some titles even going as far as 75 or even 80 percent lower than their usual retail price.

For instance, the Civilization V: Complete Edition is offered at 67 percent off, netting you the full game, including both Gods and Kings and Brave New World expansions and every single piece of downloadable content released for the game, for only $16.5 / €13.

Another very generous offer is in the form of The BioShock Triple Pack, packing all three games in the series, BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite, at a massive 83 percent off, going for only $10 / €10, albeit without any DLC.

Similarly, the Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition includes the base game and all nine DLC packs released, going for a total of just $10 / €11, being offered at 75 percent off.

The world-famous reboot of the classic X-COM series of turn-based tactics and strategy games, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, is also featured at 75 percent off.

In addition to this, all the related expansions, DLC and Season Passes are also offered at hefty discounts, including standalone versions of Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Civilization V, BioShock Infinite and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.

In case you've missed on some of the publisher's games so far and were reluctant to part with your money, this is probably the best deal you're ever going to get on them, so head on over to Steam and check out the 2K Games weekend sale before it's over.

The publisher has also released Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Civilization: Beyond Earth for pre-purchase on Steam, probably thinking that the sale and enthusiasm surround it would net both upcoming titles some purchases.

The first-person shooter from Gearbox Software is scheduled to land on the PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms in mid-October, and the turn-based strategy title that takes mankind to the stars for the first time in the series will be out on October 24, for Windows PC, Mac and Linux.
