Microsoft has announced officially the pricing details and launch deadline of its innovative control system for the Xbox 360 consoles. Come November 14th, 2010, gamers will be able to purchase a complete package, featuring the new Xbox 360 4GB console, the Kinect sensor and also the “Kinect Adventures” game. The package will be available for as low as $299.99, the Redmond company informed. According to the software giant, pre-orders for the package mentioned above are already live from a variety of retailers across the US.

“Kinect for Xbox 360 offers tremendous entertainment value for the whole family,” revealed Dennis Durkin, Xbox 360 chief operating officer. “With full body, voice and the ability to play games with your friends right out of the box, Kinect is the most unique, complete and affordable way for everyone to enjoy controller-free fun and entertainment.”

All the items packaged in the bundle mentioned above will also be sold separately. In this regard, the Kinect sensor and “Kinect Adventures” will be available for purchase for $149.99 starting on November 4. Of course, Kinect has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing 40 million Xbox 360 consoles, which allows Microsoft to tap an immense number of potential customers. Microsoft will sell the new Xbox 360 4GB console for just $199.99 starting with August 3 in the U.S. With Kinect, Xbox 360 gamers will be able to control their consoles using nothing by body movements and gestures, as well as voice input.

“Kinect truly is a revolutionary product,” said Josh Hutto, director of product marketing for Xbox. “We’re bringing controller-free entertainment into the living room. With one purchase, families get Kinect and the most complete and affordable way to have fun.”
