NEC has once again stepped forth to introduce a new monitor for the business market, or, to be more precise, the high-end enterprise segment of the worldwide display industry.

The display that NEC created is a new addition to the already extensive MultiSync collection of monitors.

Dubbed MultiSync EA273WM, it measures 27 inches in diagonal and has, unsurprisingly, support for the Full HD image quality.

In other words, the item has a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (1,080p quality for short).

NEC revealed the item through a press release, where it included more or less every piece of information relevant to prospective buyers.

The dynamic contrast ratio, for instance, is 25,000:1, while the brightness is of 300 cd/m2 and the aspect ratio is 16:9 (widescreen, obviously).

Additionally, NEC made sure to put in a fully adjustable stand (height, tilt, swivel, pivot), the Smart sensing technology (ambient light and humans sensors) and multiple connectors (HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, DisplayPort).

Furthermore, buyers will find an integrated 4-port USB 2.0 hub, built-in speakers, ControlSync (can connect up to six displays together), plus a carbon footprint and cost meter (ECO mode), all in a slim frame.

“Our goal is not only to meet, but exceed our customers’ expectations,” said Lynn Gu, Product Manager at NEC Display Solutions.

“The new MultiSync EA Series raises the bar for excellence and is ideal for those who desire performance-driven monitors with advanced technologies and full feature sets.”

The Energy Star 5.0-rated, EPEAT Gold-certified and TCO 5.1-compliant monitor will start selling this month (November, 2011), if it hasn't already, at $499 (364.65 Euro).

LED backlighting is, obviously, the main thing that allowed the energy efficiency level that actually got the panel these titles.

Finally, NEC offers the enterprise product with a 3-year warranty and threw in integrated cable management for good measure.
