As far as monitors go, Iiyama's usually try to stick to the standard formula, with the occasional adjustable stand. This time, though, it strayed a bit from that formula.

Sure, the 23-inch newcomer looks normal enough, but it has a 10-point multi-touch panel over the AH-IPS LCD, plus a rugged 7H glass panel to ensure that all those taps and swipes don't wear it down.

The rest of the specs are pretty tame: a brightness of 225 cd/m2, a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, a response time of 5ms and two 2W stereo speakers (get input via 3.5 mm jacks and HDMI).

Speaking of inputs, the Iiyama ProLite T2336MSC, as the newcomer is called, has DVI, D-Sub and HDMI connectors.

Other features include an Eco Mode (up to 38% less power use), Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and a stand (an armature really) with tilt support (drawing/writing positions).

Sales should start around the middle of October for an unknown price.
