The Golden Retriever Club of Scotland has set a new record by bringing in 222 pooches in the same place. A video taken on the occasion, in July, has been attached to this news blog.

According to the Inquisitr, organizers broke the record for the largest Golden Retriever gathering. They had first set said record in 2006, when the “Guisachan Gathering” was first held. At the time, 188 dogs were brought in.

The event celebrated the club’s 50th anniversary, and it constantly grew in popularity.

It is now a yearly event that appeals to Golden Retriever owners from all around, who come to the Guisachan House to honor their pets.

The club has a program helping dogs of this breed find permanent homes, and 50 people work to make that possible.
