The huge success of “Ride Along” proved to studios that cop-comedies are making a big return to the screen. “21 Jump Street” had already paved the way for box office success and now, as news is emerging that “Ride Along 2” is in the works, the “22 Jump Street” sequel is already set to hit theaters.

Ice Cube manages to appear in all of the good comedies lately, and he also has a role in this one, reprising his character of Captain Dickson, along Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill.

The new green band trailer borrows footage from the first one, but it adds a whole new scene, right at the end, when Jonah and Channing go undercover for some Mexican drug dealers. Whereas Hill appears to be right at home using a Mexican accent, Tatum can't word a single sentence and ends up sounding like a little girl.

The sequel to the TV series reboot as a major motion film is due to be released in theaters in America on June 13.
