Apple will take the wraps off the new iPhones in just a few days, as we get closer to the unveiling moment, more information emerges on the three models.

German site Macerkpof cites reliable sources familiar with the matter for a new report that points to the pricing for the iPhone trio that Apple will take the wraps off next week.

Basically, if this report is true, the iPhone Xs (5.8-inch OLED / iPhone X successor) is going to cost 909 euros, while the iPhone Xs Max (6.5-inch OLED / iPhone Xs Plus) could be sold starting from 1149 euros.

The more affordable iPhone (6.1-inch LCD / cheaper model) could start at 799 euros, according to the leaked information.

Given that the prices are in Euros, it’s hard to estimate how much the new iPhones would cost in the United States at the existing currency rates.

Too expensive cheaper iPhone

But as 9to5mac observed, this is exactly the pricing that the German Apple Store uses for the iPhone 8 series and the iPhone X. The smaller iPhone 8 is priced at 799 euros, while the Plus version is available starting from 909 euros. The iPhone X can be purchased for 1149 euros in Germany.

This may be an indication that a similar pricing approach could be used in the United States, which leads us to the new iPhone Xs being priced at $799, while the iPhone Xs Max could start at $999. The cheaper model may be sold for $699.

While a price of 700 bucks for a new iPhone that’s supposed to be cheaper is by no means what people expected from this kind of device, such an approach does align with previous reports in this regard. Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the most reliable Apple analysts right now, said this LCD configuration could be available for $600 to $700 when it launches this year.
