Apple’s 2018 iPhone trio makes the headlines once again, this time thanks to a video showing three different dummy units envisioning what the upcoming models would look like.

The dummies are created based on the leaked information and information that surfaced in the last few months and corroborate all the details that helped sketch the three new iPhones.

If you’ve been reading the news closely, there’s little to be impressed about in these videos, though they do highlight some of the changes coming to Apple’s flagship product.

iPhone X Plus, cheaper iPhone

The three models launching this year and which Apple hopes would help propel it to $1 trillion market cap are the following: iPhone X (2018), 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, and 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus.

First of all, the new iPhone X. Launched as a direct successor to the iPhone X, this second generation would come with a look closely resembling the one of the original model. Hardware upgrades like a new chip, a slightly improved camera, and even new storage options up to 512GB could make it to this new device. Just like the first iPhone X, it’d use an OLED panel measuring 5.8 inches.

The second model is expected to be a 6.1-inch iPhone coming with LCD screen. This particular configuration is specifically supposed to be a more affordable alternative to the premium iPhones and could launch without high-end features like a dual-camera system and 3D Touch. The device should cost somewhere around $700 and get a second and last successor in 2019.

And last but not least, there’s the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus, which will technically be an iPhone X with a bigger screen. It’s believed Apple could also offer more upgrades like a triple camera, but most of the evidence so far seems to indicate it’s going to be just a larger iPhone X and nothing more. Apple could offer some exclusive features on this device though, such as more storage.
