There are also more options to train players between matches

The development team at EA Sports announces that its upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil game, based on the real-world tournament in Brazil, will add a new Captain Your Country mode that is designed to use some Be a Pro features while introducing a whole new level of competition.

Sportra quotes one of the producers working on the game as saying that his team will allow gamers to control one international player and guide his fortunes from the B team to the moment when he is able to captain his country as it moves towards World Cup glory.

EA Sports is introducing three teammates that are designated as rivals, and players will have to perform better than them while at the same time making sure that the team as a whole does not suffer in 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.

The rivals tend to play in nearby positions on the field and gamers need to be very careful during matches in order to achieve their personal goals while also ensuring that the nation wins its current match.

Each national team will also benefit from new added training options that are part of 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, with up to four players able to take part in heavily modified exercises that were also seen in the skill games section of the currently available title in the series.

So far, the development team has confirmed shooting, tackling, and sprinting drills and more will be offered before the game is launched, although some gamers might be uninterested in spending time on the training pitch.

Training makes games longer, which is a good thing given the relatively brief campaign associated with the World Cup appearance, but it also gives gamers more options to tweak their favorite players and enhance a range of skills they can use on the pitch.

2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil is at the moment only confirmed as coming on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 from Sony and will be delivered on April 15 in North America and two days later in Europe.

The game does not use the new Ignite engine, which means that it will be less impressive than the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 versions of FIFA 14.

EA Sports is already working on another full title in the long-running football simulation series, which will incorporate many of the changes that are coming in 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.
