This weekend, the 2014 edition of the Billboard Music Awards will take place in Las Vegas and, besides the lineup of live performers announced, fans should also expect a truly memorable Michael Jackson moment that, insiders promise, “will make TV history.”

Organizers are yet to confirm such a moment but that’s only natural because it’s meant to be a secret. However, TooFab writes, it won’t be a tribute per se, in the sense that it would not include artists coming up on stage to perform some of MJ’s classic hits.

“Insiders describe the spot as ‘a world on stage that captures the essence of Michael, all the excitement and magic that is MJ.’ It will also include music from Jackson's posthumus ‘Xscape’ album, which was just released worldwide on Tuesday,” the e-zine says.

Dress rehearsals have already taken place, with organizers and people from the Michael Jackson Estate having everyone involve sign an NDA to gag them from spilling details to the press.

If you’re already thinking that an MJ hologram will definitely be used, you’re probably right on the money. The same insiders reveal that the moment will “make stunts like 2Pac's now infamous hologram performance at Coachella look like a 1980s video game.”

My guess is there will be a Michael Jackson hologram and it will probably perform with Justin Timberlake, since they do have a duet out now, “Love Never Felt So Good,” which is the first single off the aforementioned “Xscape” album.
