14 DAY TRIAL // The 2014 Billboard Music Awards are going to be an unpleasant memory for model and TV personality Kendall Jenner. She had the rather simple job of introducing one of the live performers of the show, 5 Seconds of Summer, so they gave her a microphone, pointed her at the cameras and told her to read the lines.
The model took the microphone, smiled at the cameras, but when the time came for her to read, it all became a little bit confusing. The first lines came naturally and easily, but Kendall soon lost track and an awkward silence ensued as she tried to gain composure.
Finally, after 2 or 3 seconds that must have seemed like an eternity, Kendall raises her arms in the air in sign of desperation and admits to the crowds “You guys! I'm the worst reader.” At one point it sounds like she's trying to say One Direction, but all she had to do is say 5 Seconds of Summer.
Wearing a weird top that looked similar to one of those shirts men wear under their tuxedos at formal events, Kendall's face turned from smiling to desperation as she tried her best to regain from this momentous fail on live television.
Later, she took to Twitter to give an explanation of the entire event. She put her embarrassing performance down to nervousness and a failing eyesight. In case you didn't know, Kendall is just 16, so she might want to get that looked at. He tweet read, “Anndddd as if I wasn't nervous already!!!! #NeverLeavinMyContactsAtHomeAgain! #LOL #LessonLearned.”
