14 DAY TRIAL // Submissions for the National Geographic Photo Contest 2013 are now officially opened and any photographer who wants to participate must send his photos until January 2014.
To participate you will need to submit your photographs on the official Nat Geo Photo Contest website for one or all of the three categories: People, Places and Nature.
The contest is opened for professional photographers as well as amateur photo enthusiasts from across the world and has a $15 / €11 fee for each image submitted. There's no limit regarding the number of images that can be submitted per participant.
You can send your pictures until Saturday, Nov. 30, at 11:59 p.m. ET (U.S.) when submissions are closed. The Grand Prize Winner will receive $10,000 / €7,388 and the chance to participate at the annual National Geographic Photography Seminar that takes place at the National Geographic headquarters in Washington, D.C. in January 2014.
