December is finally upon us and gamers are getting ready to enjoy the 2011 Spike TV Video Game Awards at the end of last week, which now promise to contain the reveal of a “PlayStation 3 exclusive you won’t believe”, and will be hosted by Zachary Levi, the star of NBC’s Chuck TV show.

The Video Game Awards have slowly become one of the most respected awards in the gaming industry, celebrating them with the importance of other entertainment mediums like movies or music.

We already know about some of the reveals that will take place at the event, including a new Alan Wake experience, as well as the presentation of a brand new project from BioWare.

Now, through a special billboard set up in New York’s Times Square, we know that the VGAs will also be the place where a “PlayStation 3 exclusive you won’t believe” is going to be presented.

No other details are known, but already many are pointing to Sony’s Title Fight project, which was leaked earlier this week and sees some of the company’s most popular game characters engage in over the top battles in the same way as Nintendo puts together its stars during its Smash Bros. games.

Via The Hollywood Reporter, we do know, however, that the VGAs will be presented by the star of NBC’s Chuck series, Zachary Levi, who, besides being an avid gamer, has already lent his voice to a couple of big games, including Fallout: New Vegas or Halo: Reach.

Other stars are also confirmed to appear throughout the ceremony, including Seth Green, who stars in FOX’s Family Guy series but also voices Joker in the Mass Effect series.

Musical performances include recitals from the Black Keys but also famous DJ deadmau5, who’s going to “transform the show with a visual representation of sound into a real-life video game experience.”

The 2011 Spike TV Video Game Awards will be aired live from Los Angeles on December 10.
