For the second week in a row, 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa from EA Sports is the best selling videogame in the United Kingdom. It will probably continue to sell well as the real life World Cup approaches its start date, with a lot of England fans looking to put together a squad to rival that of Fabio Capello and lead them to glory and to victory in the final. Maybe the launch of Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be able to dethrone the football simulation from the top spot.

After being pushed back to third during last week, Just Dance from Ubisoft succeeded in picking up a position and get to second place, where we got accustomed to seeing it week after week.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the first person shooter created by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, managed quite a respectable comeback, going from ninth position to the last step of the podium.

Wii Fit Plus from Nintendo also gained a few places to reach fourth, while Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the FPS from DICE and Electronic Arts, is in fifth, coming back up after languishing in eight during last week. Super Street Fighter IV saw one of the biggest drops in the chart, going from second place to number six. Wii Sports Resort stays put at number seven, showing the lasting appeal of Nintendo's mini-game collections.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction, the latest adventure starring Sam Fisher, also saw a big drop from four to eight, the Episodes from Liberty City content for Grand Theft Auto IV coming in at nine and Just Cause 2 gaining one place to reach ten. Iron Man 2 is beating at the gates of the top ten, the launch of the movie bearing the same title helping its sales.
