Forget comparing technical specifications between Apple’s iPad and competitors’ attempts to take a slice of the tablet market. A 2-year-old working the iPad without the slightest hesitation stands as clear evidence that Apple’s approach to tablet computing is the natural way to do it.

If there’s anything that can attest the intuitiveness and applicability of Apple’s iPad, it’s 2-year-old Bridger using the tablet to draw, watch movies, and even read children's books.

Dad decided to film the toddler’s experience with the so-called post-PC device, talking him through launching various applications, and performing different functions in each.

“My son Bridger just turned 2 last week and I bought him an iPad, mostly an excuse for me to get one and he actually can use it perfectly!” said the father.

However, Bridger doesn’t need any advice from his parents in order to work the iPad’s Multi-Touch interface.

Yet, he joyfully takes ‘orders’ from mom and dad sensing they are so very proud of his actions, as he maneuvers the apps with superb accuracy.

“His speech, understanding, word recognition, and even hand eye coordination have improved within just a short while!!”, Bridger’s dad claims.

For example, Brigder knows precisely what to do in order to watch a specific part of a movie, as well as when to tap on the screen to make the video controls disappear.

While some may be inclined to believe the kid is nothing short of brilliant (no doubt the little bugger is smart), we’d say it has more to do with Apple’s iOS operating system, rather than any touch of genius.

“I am so amazed and thankful for this amazing learning tool that my son has!” the father writes.

“I wanna say thanks to Apple and all those that have given my child such a head start in life with this amazing instrument!”

According to the parents, Bridger can now “read tons of words,” and “he knows every animal and dinosaur” thanks to the apps they downloaded from Apple's App Store.

We don't trust the same results could have been achieved with a tablet running Google’s Android operating system, like, say… the Motorola Xoom.

Kids love the iPad. Apple’s own promotional videos feature babies rocking iPads like the device was an extension of their hands or something.

Even mentally challenged kids are reportedly showing improvements in their cognitive abilities thanks to Apple’s tablet computing devices.

Bridger’s parents conclude, saying, “If you have a child around 2, don't rob him/her of knowledge, go buy him/her an iPad!”

After watching the amazing footage ourselves, we’d say the iPad should come as standard with every baby.
