She is young, she is pretty and she comes from rich parents. Just like Lara Croft, only she's, well... blonde. I don't know what I have with this Lara Croft character today, swear to God, it's a compulsive thing. Anyway, 17-year-old American beauty Sunny Blonde, is on a luxurious Atlantic cruise with her parents, celebrating their wedding anniversary. But it's not Sunny's idea of a party, unfortunately for her, she'd rather be with her friends. That's why she uses every chance she gets to get away from her parents and explore the ship. Just when the ship passes by the Bermuda Islands, the inevitable occurs: a heavy thunderstorm rolls in, the cruise ship is overwhelmed by the sea. Sunny passes out and is transported into one of the vessel's lifeboats?

Sunny shores on a gorgeous sandy beach on an island covered with palm trees. She can barely recall what happened. Still slightly dazed, she does register that there are no other passengers anywhere near. Oh no! Has she stranded all "alone"? So, as you probably already guessed, suddenly she will have to make do without all her luxurious accessories (cell phone, make-up and no shopping mall for our little spoiled blondie). Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg: through some freak of time and space, she seems to have been transported several centuries back and landed in the middle of an age ruled by pirates and all those other bad guys of that time, making her a regular Damsel in Distress. Bet you didn't see that one coming, huh?

Well, that's where you come in, like the super hero that you are, to solve all the crazy adventures and keep the girl safe from those dirty pirates' hands. Adventure game writer Steve Ince ("Broken Sword") is responsible for making you face adventure and puzzling riddles. Don't worry, you'll get your rewards for busting your brain with it, as the protagonist will grow from rich, spoiled luxury girl to a courageous survivor.

So Blonde is developed by French team Wizarbox and published by dtp entertainment under the ANACONDA label. The game is due for release in November for German-speaking territories.
