A Dachshund got stuck in a groundhog hole, and it took 15 firefighters, equipped with shovels and floodlights to get it out.

The dog was blocked under a retaining wall near a Clematis Boulevard home in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. 4-year-old Precious wouldn't come out, so her owner called 911.

It took a bit of effort by Penn Hills Station 227 volunteer firefighters to free the pooch.

"We had to remove some of the wall. The difficult part was digging and trying not to collapse the hole and cut off her air supply," Fire Chief Randy Dolton explains for WTAE.

The rescue effort carried on for two hours, until they got to see the dog. When owner Abby Hile called her out, it jumped from the hole. Fortunately, Precious has come out of the scary incident unscathed.
