A 14-year-old boy from India has long been diagnosed with a rare condition that distorts his body and has given him the physical condition of a 110-year-old man.

Only about 80 people in the world are affected by progeria. One of them is six-year-old Adalia Rose, who I have written about before.

Ali Hussain's family has already lost five members, Ali's siblings, as a result of the condition. According to the Daily Mail, they live in the impoverished state of Bihar in India.

His parents were first cousins whose marriage was arranged by their parents. Due to bullying, Ali was home-schooled, as were his brothers and sisters. Throughout it all, he still has a hopeful and positive attitude.

“I very much want to live and I hope there is medicine for my condition out there. I’m not scared of death but my parents have suffered a lot,” he says.
