Plus a new Crossfire module

Prototypes for a new 1333 Mhz DDR2 will be ready in a week, according to The Inquirer. Recently, OCZ worked closely with ATI engineers and released the first Crossfire Certified Memory (a couple of days ago), and also, just announced a new Crossfire Certified module, the PC2-6400, that works at 800 Mhz. Here are some features from this model: Cl 4-4-4-12 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS), unbuffered, ATI XTC heat-spreader, 2.1 volts, 240 pin DIMM. The new memory is available in dual channel optimized kits.

In the meantime, Corsair works on a 1250 Mhz model, and if it finishes first, will have the lead in the "fastest memory race" - even though for a short time. And this is only 2 weeks after I was saying that memory doesn't make big leaps. Well, it seems I was wrong. Corsair will obtain a "stunning" 133 Mhz over the current "fastest model", the PC2-9000 Titanium Alpha VX2 DFI Special Optimized, a model that runs at 1120 Mhz, which I also presented back then.

It's a pity that other specifications are forgotten, because I really think people would like to see those as well. Like, say, better latencies, for example.
