14 DAY TRIAL // Just after Valve deployed the Steam Winter Holiday Sale, Microsoft has confirmed its own initiative, called the 12 Days of Xbox Deals, which brings plenty of discounts on a variety of Xbox Live content, from games to avatar items, as well as bigger daily deals on popular games.
The winter holidays are rapidly approaching, so digital distribution services are trying to overtake one another with big deals or interesting competitions.
While PC and Mac users have the special Steam holiday sale, Microsoft has started a special offer for its Xbox 360 owners, giving them a series of discounts and deals on downloadable content for their platform.
As such, during this initiative, you’ll get a great new game discounted each day, with December 20 seeing a 50 percent discount on Bastion, the stunning title from SuperGiant Games and Warner Bros, which we named the best downloadable game of the year during our Softpedia GOTY 2011 awards.
Besides the daily discount for a major game, Microsoft has also slashed the prices for plenty of other content until January 2, 2012, ranging from DLC or downloadable games to quite a few avatar items that you can use to decorate your virtual self.
