14 DAY TRIAL // 105-year-old Edythe Kirchmaier from Santa Barbara, California has just passed her driving test in California, and got her license renewed.
A mother of two and great-grandmother to 17 children, Kirchmaier holds the record for oldest user on Facebook, oldest driver in California and oldest driver in the States.
According to the Daily Mail, she is still involved as a volunteer at a charity. She first drove in 1927, at which time she owned a Model A Ford Coupe.
In 86 years of driving, she has never had a crash and has never been issued a parking ticket, which is beyond impressive.
“I think I’m a pretty good driver. I feel safe about getting my driver's license renewed because I’ve never had an accident.
“I just couldn't imagine myself without a car. It just didn't feel very good,” she says.
