The aftermath of one of the most terrifying crashes in the history of Kent has been caught on video.

A news report showing the scene of the crash in the light of day, after the fog has passed, reveals a frightening sight.

As I mentioned before, more than 100 cars were involved in the crash on the bridge connecting the Isle of Sheppey to the Kent mainland.

According to ambulance crews, more than 33 people required hospitalization while hundreds incurred minor wounds.

While officials have stated that motorists should have had their fog lights on, some drivers believe that the foggy conditions have been too dangerous to drive through.

A van driver who refuses to give out his name has told the Independent that, in his opinion, authorities should have closed down the bridge. His vehicle has incurred damages.

“It was so foggy, you couldn’t see anything in front of you. By the time there was a problem, it was too late. The bridge shouldn’t have been open,” he describes.
