Looking as fabulous as ever, a clearly nervous Emma thanked her fans for supporting her throughout her career, through all the awkwardness and the bad times (or what she considers bad times).
Funny and honest, hers was definitely one of the best speeches of the night.
“I was completely the eager beaver in school. I was the girl in the front of the class who was the first person to put her hand up, and it’s often not cool…,” she said.
“I’ve often gotten teased mercilessly, but I’ve found that ultimately if you truly pour your heart into what you believe in, even if it makes you vulnerable, amazing things can and will happen. I’m so honored to be receiving this and I promise to keep making the best work I can for all of you,” Emma added.
