One of the world's largest Chinese handset maker, Xiaomi, is about to launch its new flagship smartphone, the Mi5.

According to the company, Xiaomi Mi5 will be officially unveiled on February 24, a few days after Samsung launches its Galaxy S7 flagship.

Just like Samsung, Xiaomi will release multiple versions of its top handset, which will be priced differently. Speaking of which, GizmoChina managed to get its hands on new information regarding the Xiaomi Mi5's prices.

The document reveals the fact that Xiaomi Mi5 will be available in four versions. All four will be launched in China on February 24, but they are likely to be released in other countries soon afterwards.

The cheapest two versions will feature a metallic design, but they will come with different amounts of memory. The 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model will be available for purchase for $335 while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version will cost $395 outright.

2.5D curved glass shouldn't make a phone more expensive

The other two Xiaomi Mi5 models will feature 2.5D curved glass coating on both front and back sides and will come with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) displays and 4GB RAM inside.

However, the 32GB model will cost $425 whereas the 64GB model has been priced at $470, which makes it the most expensive Xiaomi Mi5 version.

All four Xiaomi Mi5 devices will be unveiled next month in China, but the prices mentioned earlier might be different for other countries.

Aside from the specs that have been confirmed by this leak, Xiaomi Mi5 is also expected to come equipped with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a 5.2-inch display.

At the back, the flagship handset should pack a 16-megapixel photo snapper while in the front the Mi5 will feature an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Rumor has it Xiaomi Mi5 will be powered by a 3,600 mAh battery and that it will pack a fingerprint sensor right below the main camera.
