The development team at Ubisoft might still be putting the finishing touches on The Division, but it seems that the first major update for the video game is already done and will probably be deployed as soon as the title is out on March 8.

The information comes from the official Reddit associated with the mix of shooter and role-playing game and comes from users who have taken a look at the files that were featured in the pre-load version of the game that has arrived on the PC earlier today.

Ubisoft is adding a new appearance menu for The Division, a new help menu is now featured in the setting, and there are a number of other fixes for the game which can be seen by clicking on the button at the end of this article.

The developers are also making some improvements to the way the video game looks in action and to the way the map and the Dark Zones work.

The list that users have gotten access to is probably not final, and tweaks might be made before the 1.0 version of The Division goes live on Tuesday and the first update is delivered.

Ubisoft aims to deliver a range of DLC for its title

In both April and May gamers will get access to free downloadable content for The Division, with the first one named Incursion and the second one called Conflict.

The two updates will introduce the new Incursion mode, which is designed for high-level groups of four gamers who are ready to face tougher than usual enemies to get access to some solid equipment for their characters.

Loot trading is also being introduced to The Division to make it easier for players who work together to keep those items that they find useful and get the others to their partners.

When it comes to paid DLC, Ubisoft has three major expansions planned for the first year of the title's life, with the first of them set to be introduced in June.

It will be called Underground and will take gamers under the streets of New York City while adding a new and powerful faction for them to face again and the other two packs, named Survival and The Last Stand, will add a new game mode and other extra features.

The Division will be offered on the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, and a Season Pass is offered that covers all new content arriving during its first year on the market.
