As we're impatiently waiting for Samsung to unveil its latest flagship, the Galaxy Note 7, on August 2, leaks regarding specs and other details on the device continue to surface. The latest shows that the Galaxy Note 7 could receive a redesigned S Pen Stylus and come with two new Air View features.

Based on the recent leaks and rumors, we know that Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 will surely be a hit, considering that it's expected to come with an iris scanner and really powerful specs. The latest hearsay points to the fact that the South Korean giant has even thought about redesigning the S Pen stylus, an element that's featured on all Note smartphones.

According to iGyann (via PhoneArena), Samsung has decided to change the design of the S Pen stylus on Galaxy Note 7 handsets, but the source doesn't mention what modifications the company has applied.

Aside from this, Samsung will also improve the S Pen's capabilities and intends to implement a newer version of Bluetooth LE that would allow for longer usage and more accurate proximity warnings.

S Pen could receive more applications in the Air View section

The Air View section with all basic S Pen applications is said to welcome a new Dictionary and a text-to-speech option. The company will also incorporate a new Always on Demand app, possibly an upgraded version of the S Memo.

The post also mentions that the Galaxy Note 7 could sport a borderless display, but that could simply imply that it will come with an edge display. Then, the source has revealed that the iris scanner will have more options than simply the one for locking the screen.

It will be able to lock folders with sensitive information, applications or documents. The post also hints at a Snapdragon 823 chipset on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, one that includes Vulcan API.

As the unveiling date approaches, we expect more information to surface and provide us with some specifics on the way Samsung has changed the design of the S Pen, and we'll also find out for sure whether the iris scanner will have more features.
