Samsung held a press event yesterday at MWC 2017, during which the company showed a video teasing the upcoming Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones. The video didn’t actually show the two phones, but a newly leaked video does.

The leaked video of the working Galaxy S8 and S8+ shows the two phones side by side and reveals them from all angles. The video was spotted by SlashLeaks and it seems to be originated from China. It doesn’t actually show a walkthrough of the devices’ features, but does reveal the Always On Display feature on the S8+.

The capacitive onscreen keys that replace physical buttons are visible on both phones, together with the home screen on the Galaxy S8. Both smartphones appear to come with dual-edge curved displays, small bezels and lack a physical home button. The fingerprint sensor is shown on the back panels of both models.

Galaxy S8 will be announced on March 29 in New York and London

Samsung intends to incorporate the two phones with its own virtual AI assistant, Bixby, and they will run the latest Android Nougat software. When it comes to internal components, the Galaxy S8 will feature Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB of RAM and an iris scanner for enhanced security.

The Galaxy S8 will have a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ display, while the larger model will have a screen size of 6.2 inches. Both devices will have 64GB of internal memory and IP68 certification against water and dust damages. Rear camera capacity on the Galaxy S8 is expected to reach 12MP with dual pixel features, while the front camera will have 8MP.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be announced during the Unpacked event on March 29, set to be held in New York City and London. The phones will be made available for purchase on April 21 and Samsung has yet to announce if it will hold a pre-order session beforehand.
