As expected, Samsung Galaxy S7 and its curved sibling, the Galaxy S7 edge, went on pre-order just a few days after they were officially unveiled at MWC 2016.

Both smartphones will be available worldwide, though some countries might get them earlier than others. Customers in the United States will be among the first to get their hands on Samsung's next-generation flagship smartphones.

All four major carriers in the country have opened up pre-orders for both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, so you can now reserve your handset before they go out of stock (or not).

If you prefer AT&T, then you should know that Galaxy S7 is available for pre-order for $695 while the slightly larger Galaxy S7 edge costs no less than $795 outright.

Sprint also takes pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy S7, so if you want it, you must come up with $650 upfront or $750 if you plan to purchase the Galaxy S7 edge.

Next in line, T-Mobile offers the Galaxy S7 for $670 off-contract while the Galaxy S7 edge has been priced at $779.

Last but not least, Verizon Wireless has the Galaxy S7 up for pre-order for $672, and the Galaxy S7 edge for $792.

Sprint has the cheapest offer

Judging by the prices listed earlier, it looks like AT&T has the most expensive offer on Samsung's new flagship smartphones, whereas Sprint sells the cheapest Galaxy S7 / Galaxy S7 edge devices.

Keep in mind that all these carriers offer the Galaxy S smartphones for $0 down on various monthly payments, so make sure you check them out.

Also, it's worth mentioning that each customer who pre-orders the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge is entitled to receive a free Samsung Gear VR. Some carriers allow customers to choose between the Gear VR and a Samsung Gear S2.

All major carriers mentioned earlier claim they should start shipping the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge device on or before March 11.
