Samsung Galaxy A series 2017 iterations were expected to make an appearance at the end of this year, but unofficial information showed that fans would have to wait for another month until they can get their hands on the smartphones.

Recent rumors show that the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 (2017) could be released from mid-January in Western Europe. Leakster Roland Quandt has revealed that the phones will be made available in black, blue, gold and pink color variants.

Unfortunately, the Galaxy A7 (2017) might not make it to Western Europe, according to the leakster. However, this information isn’t official, so Samsung might actually change its plans until the release.

The price for the Galaxy A5 (2017) could start at €449

Roland Quandt also revealed that the MSRP (manufacturer’s suggested retail price) for the Galaxy A3 (2017) might start at €349, and €449 for the Galaxy A5 (2017). The actual price in stores may differ depending on the country.

The Galaxy A3 (2017) is said to pack a 3,000mAh battery and have a 4.7-inch display with HD resolution. It might run an Exynos 7870 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The phone may have a 12MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP in the front. It’s said to incorporate a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, and audio jack.

All three upcoming phones in the Galaxy A (2017) series are said to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and the Galaxy A7 (2017) might also come with IP68 waterproof certification and a 5.7-inch display. The A7 might draw power from a 3,500mAh battery.

The Galaxy A5 (2017) is expected to have a 5.5-inch screen with a 3,300mAh battery and 16GB of internal memory. Rear camera capacity might reach 13MP and the device could run Exynos 7880 SoC with Mali-T860 GPU.
