Best Buy Mobile has listed the T-Mobile myTouch 3G for pre-order on its website, and those who won't reserve one of these Android-powered beauties directly on the carrier's website can place their orders with the retailer with a $50 deposit. The sum, we learn, will be placed on a Best Buy Gift Card that should be applied towards the final purchase.

However, there are a few things that should be noted here. First, users need to know that, in order to get their unit they should have the gift card along with the sales receipt and flyer when the device arrives. In addition, we should also mention the fact that Best Buy only offers the white and merlot flavors of the T-Mobile myTouch 3G for pre-order.

There are no details on whether all users will have the opportunity to pre-order the phone or if only existing ones will benefit from this offer. It would make sense for T-Mobile and Best Buy to enable anyone to reserve one unit, especially given the fact that the carrier already stated that it expected the sales of myTouch 3G to surpass those of G1. According to Cole Brodman, chief technology officer for T-Mobile, this would be the result of the second device’s “broader appeal.”

One thing that is certain here is that almost anyone out there was pretty sure that the myTouch 3G would sell better than the first Android-based phone. Not only that it comes with a new OS and with new looks, but it also includes a series of new features and functionalities, such as Visual Voicemail. The capability was rumored and expected to come around for the carrier's users with the second Android phone, yet it is only now that we have the chance to take a look at it. Watch the videos below to learn more on this feature of T-Mobile myTouch 3G.
