Microsoft has just released Windows 10 Mobile build 10536, and the company’s hard at work to bring out another version as soon as possible, as it’s planning to finalize development of the operating system sometime next month, before the grand launch to users across the world.

Gabe Aul, head of the Windows Insider program, has revealed on Twitter that Microsoft’s already testing build 10547 in its internal rings, confirming that this is a possible release candidate for testers.

No details have been provided, and it could still take a few days before this build lands for insiders, as Aul says that currently only the internal fast ring is running 10547. So before anything else, the build must be promoted to the slow ring, and if everything goes according to plan there, it might be released to insiders.

Several new builds likely to come

Microsoft hasn’t yet announced a release date for Windows 10 Mobile, but the company’s hosting a press event on October 6 to introduce new devices, including Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. Both of them will run Windows 10 Mobile, so it’s believed that, by this date, the new smartphone OS should be close to completion, if not finalized already.

The public release could take place later the same month, so in approximately 30 days, the first devices running Windows Phone could get the upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile.

Microsoft’s thus expected to accelerate work on the existing preview builds and bring out new versions in the same way it did with the PC sibling before its public launch. The software giant rolled out three new builds in approximately five days, all with the purpose of fixing bugs and paving the way for RTM.

The same is likely to happen with the mobile flavor too, so expect several releases to see daylight in the coming weeks as the world’s preparing for the final build.
