The hype around LG's V20 smartphone continues to build up, as information on this highly anticipated device keeps on surfacing online. The handset is expected to be unveiled on September 6, and it seems that specs have leaked yet once again.

PhoneSSpot reveals that LG's V10 successor will sport a 5.7-inch QHD display, which appears to be the same as on the V10. This is the first leak that seems to suggest a secondary display for the V20, but its size and resolution aren't known.

Still, considering that the V10 came with the same size for the main display, drawing an analogy, the V20 could potentially have a secondary screen of 2.1 inches and 160 x 1040 pixel resolution, but details aren't available just yet.

V20 could come with Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM

Moving on to the processor model, the V20 is said to pack a Snapdragon 820, as compared to the quad-core 1.44GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 featured on last year's model. In addition, leaked specs suggest that the V20 will boast a 21MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie snapper on the front.

Camera capacity is clearly more powerful compared to the V10, which had a 16MP rear camera with laser autofocus and a 5MP unit on the front.

The V20 is said to come with 4GB of RAM and to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. In fact, even LG has stated that the V20 will be the first non-Nexus smartphone to come with the latest Android version from Google.

LG has also announced that it might make the V series its new line of premium smartphones, which wouldn't be surprising, seeing how the V20 is shaping up to be a powerful device and the previous company flagship G5 didn't quite manage to record satisfactory sales.

The V20 will arrive on September 6, as LG will be organizing a launch event in San Francisco on that day and in Seoul on the following day.
