LG will host a press conference tomorrow during MWC 2017 in Barcelona, during which the company will announce the upcoming G6 phone. The premium smartphone was pictured in a black color variant just a few days ago.

Now, reliable tipster Evan Blass is back with a render that shows the G6 in three color variants, Mystic White, Astro Black, and Ice Platinum. The image comes as a confirmation that the G6 will be quite different compared to its predecessor.

LG has ditched the modular design for its G premium phones and has made the new device water and dust resistant. In addition, LG has been heavily teasing and promoting the new phones through videos and announcements.

Full Vision display and full metal body

As the image depicts, the G6 will have a large Full Vision display of 5.7 inches with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2880 x 1440 pixel resolution. LG says that the G6 will offer a larger screen in a relatively small body smartphone made out of metal.

The upper and bottom bezels on the new phone are quite small, while the LG logo is placed on the bottom bezel and the G6 moniker is featured on the back of the phone. Speaking of which, the 13MP dual-camera setup on the back is visible in the render, together with the LED flash and fingerprint sensor below.

Inside, the phone will run Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal memory. A non-removable 3,200mAh battery could power the smartphone, which will run the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and integrate Google Assistant. The G6 will also have improved Quad DAC support.

The latest reports say that the G6 will be announced tomorrow in Barcelona, while pre-orders might start on March 2 and end on March 9. The phone will be available in stores and online on March 10.
