A few days ago, LG unveiled the G Pad III 8.0 in South Korea and Canada. Now it seems that the company has made yet another tablet available at T-Mobile. The LG G Pad X 8.0 is officially up for sale at T-Mobile for the price of $240 or $10 per month.

Previous rumors indicated that the tablet would be released in mid-May, but it appears that the South Korean electronics manufacturer has decided to change the release date.

The LG G Pad X 8.0 comes with an octa-core Snapdragon SoC clocked at 1.5GHz, but T-Mobile hasn’t mentioned the model of the processor. Still, it has an 8-inch 1920 x 1200 pixel display, and it comes with 2GB of RAM. Internal memory reaches only 16GB, but users will have the option to expand storage by purchasing a separate microSD card of up to 128GB.

The tablet runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box, and it comes with a rear camera of just 5MP with full HD video recording. Front camera capacity is exactly the same, 5MP. The tablet is 4G LTE capable, and it supports Bluetooth 4.2.

The tablet measures 8.3 x 4.8 x 0.31 inches and weighs 10.9 ounces. There’s no mention of battery capacity, but T-Mobile has specified that the tablet should provide up to 20 days standby time.

Last year, LG made the LG G Pad X 10.1 available at AT&T for a price that’s now similar to the one of the newly released LG G Pad X 8.0. However, the tablet with a 10.1-inch Full HD IPS display has the same resolution as the 8.0-inch version, but more powerful specs. It comes with a rear camera of 8MP, Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.26GHz, and a 7,400mAh battery.
