Lenovo Phab 2 Pro carries a price tag of $499

Fans from the US will be able to purchase the device this fall, but the specific date and month is unknown. The report also mentions that the smartphone could be available in stores this holiday season. Lenovo listed the Phab 2 Pro on its US website for the price of $499.

The phone is the first to come out of Project Tango, a device platform that allows the smartphone to understand its location and build a three-dimensional map of indoor spaces. Lenovo worked with Google and multiple scientists in order to develop this phone.

The Phab 2 Pro is filled with all sort of sensors that have the capacity to map surroundings and create augmented reality. The phone can display areas in 3D and has the capacity to capture over 250,000 measurements per seconds. It comes with a 6.4-inch Quad HD display, with a 4,050mAh battery and 2.4 Turbo Charging.

The Snapdragon 652 processor was optimized for Tango applications and the phone comes with 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM. In addition, it has a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP camera on the front, as well as a fingerprint scanner.
