HTC and Google are working on releasing two upcoming Nexus smartphones, and images and specs of the two devices have already leaked online. Just today, we’ve reported that pictures of the Nexus Sailfish surfaced on the Internet, showing the handset from all angles. Nexus Marlin will have a similar design, but a larger display.

Prices for Google's upcoming smartphones, Nexus Sailfish and Marlin have leaked at Nexus Blog. The post reveals that Nexus Sailfish will have a selling price of $449.

Customers will pay for a 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, Snapdragon 820 coupled with Adreno 530 graphics processing unit, 4GB of RAM, and a 2,770mAh battery. The smartphone will also pack 32GB of internal storage, a 12MP rear camera, and an 8MP selfie snapper.

Fans of Nexus smartphones could get more with the Nexus Marlin, since the device is rumored to come with a 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, SD820 with Adreno 530 GPU, a 3,450mAh battery, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP front camera. RAM capacity and internal storage could be the same as on the Nexus Sailfish. The rumored price for Nexus Marlin is $599.

Nexus Marlin and Sailfish could be released next month

Google has already released the stable version of Android 7.0 Nougat, but new Nexus devices have yet to hit the market. Usually, Google announces a new version of its Android operating system, together with new Nexus smartphones, which are actually the first to come with the new OS out of the box.

Interestingly, LG will be unveiling the first handset with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, but it will be the Nexus Sailfish and Marlin that will go on sale first. However, some rumors suggest that Nexus smartphones could come with Android 7.1, which could include the highly anticipated Google Assistant. Since LG V20 is set to be unveiled on September 6, we can only presume that Nexus Sailfish and Marlin will make their debut next month as well.
