The 4-UltraPixel camera could be one of the best

Great news for HTC fans, as the company’s next Android smartphone is supposed to come with a unique feature that is not available in any other handset available on the market.

According to a new report coming from Phandroid, HTC 10, or whatever its name, will include a front-facing camera with OIS (optical image stabilization). Usually, only rear-facing cameras benefit from the OIS function, but it looks like HTC wants to add it to the selfie camera as well.

The information hasn’t been confirmed by HTC yet, but at least one person with access to a prototype unit mentioned the front-facing camera will feature OIS (optical image stabilization). He even took a few photos to emphasize on the matter, but it looks like he was forced to take them down.

We don’t know too much about the HTC 10’s front camera, except maybe that it will probably feature a 4-UltraPixel sensor, but other than that this feature is a bit of a mystery.

An UltraPixel rear camera might be included too

HTC has been teasing information about its upcoming flagship for quite some time now, such as the fact that it will come with BoomSound technology and an amazing rear-facing camera.

Speaking of which, many believe that HTC 10 will pack a 12-megapixel photo snapper, which will embed the same camera sensor as the Huawei Nexus 6P. Still, take this as a rumor since HTC hasn’t confirmed the information yet.

We’re almost certain the phone will be powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and 4GB of RAM.

HTC 10 will also include a fingerprint scanner under the Home button, but also a 5.1-inch Super LCD 5 display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Also, rumor has it that the smartphone should be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.
