Gamers can pick up a total of 23 players

The Champions League delivered a very impressive match last night, and with the second semi-final for the competition set to take place tonight, the development team at EA Sports is offering a new Team of the Week package for the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 16 for the most dedicated of football fans.

One of the best players on the pitch last night, Gareth Bale from Real Madrid, is the biggest star featuring in the first eleven delivered by the company, but there are plenty of other players that gamers can pick up to improve their own first eleven and their Chemistry.

The attacking line of the Team of the Week for FIFA 16 is made up of Francesco Totti, who is still performing well despite his advanced age, Bale, who offers options on the right flank, and Martens, who holds position on the left one.

The developers at EA Sports have selected three midfielders to anchor the team they have chosen, with Eden Hazard from Chelsea, Tadic and Mkhitaryan offering options when it comes to buildings attacking moves and stopping those from the opposition.

The four mad defensive line for the Team of the Week is made up of Roussillon, Zeegelaar, Mikel San Jose and Berezutskiy.

The team selected by the development team is Leno, one of the rising stars of the sport.

The Team of the Week package for Ultimate Team also features the classic seven substitutes that football allows for, with gamers able to use them to get more resources or plug holes in their teams, and there are another five ones included to make sure that gamers have choices for the semi-random Draft experience.

EA Sports is preparing for Team of the Season

In order to celebrate the best players of the moment, those who have managed to deliver performances that have changed course for their team, the studio is set to start offering Team of the Season packages on April 29.

So far, specifics have not been revealed, but the company is also planning to deliver some in-game tournaments with interesting rewards and some other Ultimate Team packs that should appeal to the most dedicated of fans.

EA Sports has not yet talked about FIFA 17, with a reveal probably set to arrive before the end of E3 2016 event in June.

A rumor is currently saying that Lionel Messi from Barcelona will not be on the cover and that a new major star will be selected for the position, probably coming from an English team.
