This week the developers working on Destiny at Bungie delivered a new 2.0.1.2 hotfix that was designed to deal with one big problem with Trials of Osiris and some other issues, but the studio is already thinking about the future of the social shooter and the changes that it plans to make to improve the experience.

A new Weekly Update explains that a new major update, labeled 2.0.2, is slated to arrive in November, although the exact date is not yet mentioned.

Lars Bakken, a design lead for the Crucible experience in Destiny, explains that Bungie is working hard to make sure that it is making sure that gamers will be able to get more Legendary rewards when facing off against other Guardians.

He states, "These changes will make your entire Crucible career more rewarding. Once the final details are locked, we’ll be sure to share them with you. Thanks for all the feedback, and may the Lords of Iron reward your future bravery."

Andrew Weldon, a senior designer, announces that bounties introduced in The Taken King are also being evaluated, and changes will be designed to make some of them easier, in the long run, asking the player to get through only a few matches to get the requirements for most of them.

Crucible Forged will also be tweaked in update 2.0.2 for Destiny, with the team aiming to make it shorter and more interesting for gamers who are aiming to take their first steps into the Crucible game modes.

Trials of Osiris will be re-activated on October 30

In a little more than one week, gamers will be able to take part in the mode once again, now that Bungie has managed to eliminate the problems that were making the Nightstalkers more effective than they should have been.

Before then, gamers will also be able to take part in the hard mode for the King's Fall raid, which will be activated on Friday, October 23 at 10 AM Pacific Time.

The team says that for the new difficulty level it has tweaked some of the core mechanics of the mode and is seeking to give Guardians more things to worry about as they take down enemies and prepare to face the toughest boss that Destiny has ever offered.

Bungie is not yet ready to talk about its plans to introduce new actual content to the social shooter.

On October 13, the studio activated the Eververse Trading Company, which is at the moment offering a number of emotes for Silver, which can be bought using real world currency.

According to the company, the new revenue stream, which will be expanded with some other items that will only have cosmetic effects, will be used by the live events team in order to introduce a range of new content during the coming months.

Rumors are saying that Bungie is currently using most of its resources to create an entirely new Destiny 2 experience that is currently set to arrive on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in late 2016.
