As the launch date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 draws near, the development team at Treyarch and publisher Activision have been talking about the many new elements the shooter is set to introduce, but the experience is also coming with plenty of familiar elements long-term fans will be familiar with.

Dan Bunting, game director, is quoted by GamingBolt as saying that Scorestreaks are relatively similar to what was offered in Black Ops 2.

He explains that, "we want things to have very big identities and big personalities and unique roles, we also want it to be very accessible and don’t want to overcomplicate any of the systems. Any players can go in an understand the system very quickly and make free choices. The things that you’ve chosen have a very different role from the other things that you’ve chosen."

Treyarch wants each player to find a clear role that he is comfortable with in the multiplayer side of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and to then find the right tools in order to be successful.

The studio has said that it wants a more dynamic experience.

Many of the core elements of the multiplayer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 can be tested in a coming bet period.

Treyarch is looking for match data and player feedback

PlayStation 4 gamers will be able to play a variety of maps and modes on August 19 and those who own a PC or an Xbox One will get access to the same experiences on August 26.

Treyarch has said that it is expecting to gather a lot of data from the coming matches and that those involved should also offer clear feedback on the forums.

The idea is to see how the new maps and modes work and how they can be improved before the full title launches.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be offered on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and older home consoles on November 6 of this year.

The first-person shooter also includes a big single-player campaign and Treyarch is also showing its love for zombies with a new cooperative campaign called Shadows of Evil, which will use a 40s setting.
