14 DAY TRIAL // The fine folks at Adblock Plus have just announced that their ad blocker for desktop is now available on both Android and iOS platforms.
The application has been in testing on Android since May, but beginning today, users can download the first stable version via Google Play Store.
As developers state, Adblock Browser is the most popular ad blocker for desktop browser, so it won't come as a surprise if it becomes very popular on mobile devices as well.
With Adblock Browser, each webpage will load faster, which means it will save battery and data. The application also defends your smartphone from malware and tracking, which is usually hidden behind many ads.
Adblock Browser promises to reduce the risk of malware infection and to enhance privacy. Users will be able to change the default settings to block all ads, as well as disable malware, tracking and other settings.

It's also worth mentioning that Google initially removed Adblock Browser from Google Play store back in 2013, but allowed the developer to relist it once again in May, 2015.
You can now download Adblock Browser for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application has been confirmed to fully support all devices powered by Android 2.3 and above.
Keep in mind though that the installation requires 24MB of storage, 384MB of RAM and a display that supports at least 320 x 240 pixels.
For iOS users, Adblock Browser can be downloaded for free via App Store. It should work smoothing on all iPhone and iPad devices running iOS 8 and above.
