The official YouTube application for Windows Phone devices is available for download once again, currently listed in the official storefront as version 3.2.0.0.

Designed by Microsoft itself, the mobile client comes with support for both Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 devices.

The Redmond-based software giant had the application available for Windows Phone users a while ago, but had to pull it following issues with Google. The new version of the software resembles the original one, but adds a series of new features to the mix, it seems.

The application was designed to provide users with a full YouTube experience while on the go, by enabling them to easily explore and manage YouTube’s vast catalogue of videos and channels.

Through it, users will also be able to share videos with their friends via social networks, email and text messages, and can also listen to video playlists with enhanced player controls.

Furthermore, the mobile client comes with support for pinning videos, playlists, channels and search queries to a handset’s Start screen as Live Tiles.

These Live Tiles will flip to display the most popular videos or subscriptions’ latest uploads, Microsoft explains in the application’s description.

On top of that, YouTube for Windows Phone comes with Kid’s Corner integration, which means that users can make sure that kids are watching age-appropriate videos.

The features list of the application includes:

- Manage your YouTube profile with your unique My YouTube page - Manage your playlists, uploads and video lists - Pin videos, playlists, channels and search queries to the Start screen as Live Tiles - Find channels, videos and playlists with the quick access search bar with new search suggestions - Share videos to social networks, e-mail and text messages - Help your kids view age appropriate videos in Kid’s Corner and keep their own profile
