Or at least that’s what the latest leak seems to suggest anyway

Samsung will be holding a big, fancy press event on September 15 at Photokina 2014, and one of the products we expect to see come out of the tech giant is the newest flagship mirrorless camera NX1.

Yesterday, a leak provided us with some insights into the camera’s specifications, but one detail was left out. Will the new device bring about 4K video recording or not?

The information was thrown around a few months back, but since then we haven't heard anything else on the matter.

However, today’s leak galore comes to reconfirm our hopes (as seen at Photo Rumors). Yes, it appears that, after all, the camera will come equipped with the possibility to film in 4K (3840 x 2160 pixel res at 30p/24p).

We also get a set of detailed specifications for the new camera. We already knew some of them, but here it goes.

The NX1 will take advantage of a 28MP APS-C CMOS ISOCELL sensor working in concert with a DRIMe Image Signal Processor.

It will come equipped with an advanced hybrid autofocus system / 2nd generation of Phase Detection Auto Focus System, and will boast an ISO capacity of 100-51200.

The camera will take advantage of a 3-inch tiltable AMOLED touch display and has 154 cross-type sensors. It's water and dust resistant (it also has a weather-sealed body) and has embedded Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity. It will be manufactured out of magnesium alloy.

Also, here are some teaser images with the camera for you to chew on until the official announcement.
