14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft announces that its Xbox Live service is down at the moment and says that it is working as fast as possible to identify the issue and fix it.
On the official status page the company states, "We’ve got our team engaged and they are working hard to get everything back to normal as expediently as possible. You’re being so patient while we're working, and we really appreciate you! We’ll update you on our progress as soon as we have more information."
So far Microsoft hasn’t said what might have caused Xbox Live to go offline.
The outage affects those trying to use the service using the Xbox 360 home console, Games for Windows Live and Windows 8 on the PC, Windows Phone, and Xbox.com.
Updates will be offered as Microsoft identifies and eliminates the Xbox Live issue.
