Behold the world's first Android smartphone to feature a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, TAKE Janus KM-S200

Although the device has been introduced and price tagged by the Korean carrier KT Telecom, there's little to no chance that it will be retailed outside the country.

In terms of hardware, the TAKE Janus KM-S200 overtakes the HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S II, which are considered new flagship Android smartphones.

Unfortunately, Android fans living outside South Korea will have to wait a little longer to be able to purchase such a beast.

TAKE Janus KM-S200 is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8260 1.5GHz processor and operates Android 2.3 Gingerbread with USIM payment support.

Those who think that power comes at the expense of size will be happy to find that Janus KM-S200 measures 128.5 x 65 x 9.8mm and weighs about 130g (battery included).

Just like Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Sensation, the TAKE Janus KM-S200 comes with a huge 4.3-inch multi-touch display, but unlike the former which supports up to 480 x 800 pixels resolution, Janus' display is qHD and features 960 x 540 pixels support.

Thanks to the 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, the phone can shoot full HD 1080p videos, while the secondary 1.3-megapixel camera is perfect for video calls.

The smartphone features a DMB-TV digital tuner, 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Furthermore, the phone comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, integrated GPS and HSPA for international roaming.

In addition, TAKE Janus KM-S200 comes bundled with a Sennheiser earphones, which works perfectly with the SRS WOW HD audio feature.

The Android-based smartphone is available in black, white or two tone black & white color scheme and can be purchased via KT Telecom for about $740.
