2.0 patch full of bugs

If you are a World of Warcraft fan you probably know that the 2.0 patch went for public testing. I've reported this approximately one week ago, and since then there have been reports of bugs.

One bug in particular seems to bother Blizzard, and according to ActionTrip, this bug allowed farmers to duplicate gold. The guys over at ActionTrip mention that these bug reports are unconfirmed, and that they also reveal that the bug was fixed already.

It took Blizzard some 10 hours to take care of it, but in these 10 hours, some 100,000,000 gold was duplicated by farmers. Lucky farmers! If this turns out to be true, someone will have a lot of explaining to do and I guess it's safe to say that some heads will fall.

This patch was supposed to improve arming time by 2 seconds, and to fix some of the PvP bugs. The reset problems of the Rend Blackhand arena event in Upper Blockrock Spire. Furthermore, slowing abilities and spells will no longer decrease the speed of a player when traveling by Gryphon.

But enough of this 2.0 patch, let's talk about something really good, like The Burning Crusade. This WoW expansion pack will be released on January the 16th of 2007 and if you get it you will be able to play Blood Elves as Paladins, which were previously unavailable to the Horde.

The first closed beta testing for the Burning Crusade took place in 2004 in Korea, and the US beta testing session is currently taking place. All those who were present in BlizzCon on October 11, 2006 got a beta testing invitation via email. Those lucky bastards!
