Among the mobile phones that should make a splash this year on the airwaves of wireless carrier T-Mobile, we can count a Windows Phone 7-powered device too, coming from HTC, it seems, under the name of Bresson. Nothing was officially unveiled on the availability of the new device for now, but recent reports suggest that it would be set to make an appearance at the carrier sometime towards the end of the ongoing year.

Since no new smartphone is expected to arrive on shelves before the next flavor of Windows Phone is released, namely Mango, the new handset would most probably be powered by this OS iteration when released.

The mobile phone that can be seen in the photo to the left might not be the HTC Bresson itself, but only a placeholder. The smartphone might look totally different, tough nothing was confirmed on the matter for the time being.

Apparently, Bresson would be only one of the handsets that HTC aims at bringing to the market with Microsoft's Windows Phone platform on board later in 2011.

HTC Ignite and HTC Prime are other two such devices the company might release during the ongoing year, the former with a candybar design and the latter with a QWERTY keyboard on board.

For the time being, however, there are no specific details available on the availability of these two devices, nor is it known whether they would make an appearance on the market in the United States.

Chances are that Bresson would arrive on shelves at T-Mobile with a high-quality photo snapper on the back, which would also sport HD video recording, as well as support for the new Augmented Reality features that Microsoft promised for the next Windows Phone release.

Rumor has it that the device would be unveiled to the world sometime after September, and that it might become available in time for the holiday season, and more info on it should emerge at that time.
